Very Good

Great location, in the middle of the action. Easy walk to the old city of Cartagena. Rooftop pool was fun with views around the city. Very friendly and helpful staff, would definitely recommend.

Restaurant is a little aged, could do with a revamp. Breakfast is included and is reasonable.

Beautiful, comfortable, conveniently located

The property is very well located. It is in a street in Getsimani full of restaurants and covered by beautiful umbrellas. Also it is a 5 min walk from the walled city which is very convenient.

There’s nothing I didn’t like the property per day but I think it is a little pricy given the other option spring the same area.

Fine hotel for short stay

Location was nice and rooms where clean.

The pool was not clean, We mentioned it two times at the reception but they say it was fixed. But it was not :-(

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, but wish the rooms and bathrooms were more modern.

The Casa Tere hotel is located centrally in the artistic Getsemani neighborhood, just outside Centenario park and walking distance to the walled city. The hotel lobby area and mini courtyard is pretty. The street outside the hotel was vibrant and colorful. Banks, restaurants, and stores were within a 5-10 minute walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made our stay a positive experience. They helped us with recommendations, laundry, and getting taxis. The free coffee and breakfast was nice and set us up for a nice start each day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, but wish the rooms and bathrooms were more modern.

The rooms were smaller than expected and not luxurious. However, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The bathrooms were clean but had old plumbing, so we could not flush toilet paper, which made it a little inconvenient.

Loved Hotel Casa Tere and plan on staying there again.

The location was exactly what we were looking for, in Getsemani, just outside of the old city. We were travelling with an 18 month old and the crib was set up waiting for us on arrival. They delivered a small refrigerator to our room without us asking. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and were wonderful with our granddaughter. They arranged laundry service and taxi rides for the beach. The pictures on Booking.com were very accurate. The rooftop pool area was very comfortable with great views of the City and a great place to watch the sunset.

Breakfast got a little repetitive but we were also there for 22 days.

Brillinant Location

The location was great! Everything was walking distance. The staff was really helpful, our room ac conked off and they immediately gave us the room next door.

The beds were too small for 2 people.

Great location with some negatives.

Location was amazing - in Getseami and very close to Centro. The suite was quite large and the staff were accommodating to some of our requests for visitors. Breakfast was simple but had some variety. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Hot water was a rarity - only one hot shower for the whole week and the temperature went from scalding to cold quickly. Wifi was scarce. Depending on the location of your room, it may be quite noisy at night. Lacked some hospitality rituals - for example two bottles of water are usually provided in the room upon arrival but this was not the case in this hotel.

don’t hesitate - it’s great!

the location is perfect! it’s a short walk to both old town and the heart of Getsemani. i couldn’t imagine a better location, and the staff were great! Bonus: there’s a cute bar right across the street for a cold bevvie and people watching.

the shower took a little while to warm up some days.

nice but expensive for what it is

location was perfect, beautiful rooftop terrasse, the italian restaurant next door is a must if you like quality and authentic pastas

overall a bit deceiving, photos looked nicer than the place actually was, especially the tiny pool that didn't seem to have a cleaning filter? lol. not worth the price we paid per night.
